... A POINTS SYSTEM.

I know, crazy. But, how to implement a points system into a game in which the overall encompassing theme it the theme of ... Well, pointlessness? A pointless points system was necessary ... Except that it had to have some point. So, I've added a points system, but the method of gaining points and upping your score is, at the moment, a classified affair ;) You'll just have to work the point out for yourself. Points.



Changes include:

• A change to the menu system (It's now controlled using the arrow keys), and a button to exit the game on said menu.
• A scoring system.
• A way to actually win the game, and 'Win Screen' (It will continue to be called this until I can think of a better name, or a better name is suggested).
• A background that doesn't infringe on someone's copyright, that I made myself. It'll blow your minds.
• A deep and meaningful storyline, about a melancholy young man and his quest for freedom and world peace ... Yeah, still no storyline whatsoever.

To-Do*:

• Add sound effects.
• Add music(?).
• In-game pop-up menu.
• Add fullscreen option and options to change screen resolution.
• Improve the 'Win Screen'.
• Improve other menus.
• Re-add (Is that a word? It is now.) a 'free flight' option, maybe as the prize for completing the game.
• Add coins/ hoops/ aliens/ all 3.
• Fix the restart option, as there currently isn't really a restart option. It kind of breaks the game.

*The chances of these to-dos ever getting to-done are looking increasingly slim. Mainly because I've finally realised how crap this is.

The revamped menu system. It's mind-numbingly incredible. The fact that the background image still manages to make me smile is kinda sad.

Gameplay! It plays the same. BUT NOW WITH A SCORE. And a legal background (That's miles better than the original anyway).
